Nutella Sugar Cookies

I am to believe that a simple smear of Nutella makes anything better and this recipe is a living proof of that! This is nothing more than two simple sugar cookies with some Nutella in between. With a pink glaze and a bit of flare, these are the easiest and prettiest cookies you can possibly make. The extra creaminess of the coconut milk soaking syrup do wonders for the texture of this chocolate sponge cake, without leaving it tasting like coconut. To make things pretty in pink I added hibiscus tea to my extra creamy cream cheese frosting. I can tell you this is a very chocolate cake special cake!

Sour Almond Loaf Cake with Lemon Hibiscus Glaze

This cake guys! It’s an almond loaf cake with sour notes thanks to the buttermilk and sour cream in the batter. It has a tight crumb and yet it’s super soft because I used cornstarch in it to make homemade cake flour. I used almond extract instead of vanilla to let those buttermilk notes shine. And then you hit that sweet and tangy glaze that I made using lemon juice and hibiscus tea. It’s totally addictive! Not kidding! I ate one and a half piece in one sitting because it’s addictive powers. So beware and eat at your own risk!
